Society suffocates art. The world tries to force art into very distinct boxes instead of just letting it be. It assigns explicit roles to art in order to deem it worthy of being created and, if it doesn’t serve some sort of pragmatic purpose, we belittle it to something that is solely aesthetic.
Art does not have a formula. It does not always have a direct path or a final destination. It is unpredictable. Art has the power to move people. It can be remedial and express subdued significance. Art is living. Set it free. Let art breathe.
